ITP Ltd celebrated another successful appearance at the 2023 NMBS Show, using the event as a platform to introduce a new product which attracted extremely positive feedback from exhibition visitors.

NMBS members were impressed by ITP’s new FlameOut Block Class A vapour control layer featuring an enhanced Euroclass A fire safety rating in keeping with requirements for other façade elements on buildings over 18m. We enjoyed a similar response to our established products, including a range of breather membranes, roofing underlays, house wraps, UV-resistant façade membranes, and ground barrier membranes.

“ITP are regular exhibitors at the NMBS Show and every year we enjoy catching up with long-standing customers as well as meeting other NMBS members for the first time. We always have a busy time on our stand and this year was no exception. Plenty of orders were placed and visitors were keen to find out more about our FlameOut Block Class A vapour control layer. Many of their views reflect a growing industry opinion that building membranes should meet Euroclass A rating on high-rise buildings,  in keeping with standards required by law for cladding. Under current regulations, membranes are only required to be Euroclass B, but the sector is being encouraged to advocate best practice, especially with the arrival of the Building Safety Act, and that means Euroclass A for all parts of an external wall. As well as supplying a Euroclass A-rated VCL, we also supply Safe One, a Euroclass A-rated breather membrane which won Product of the Year in the Façade 2022 Design and Engineering Awards.
