FLAME RETARDANT SPECIALISTS
POWERCLAD FR products are certified Flame Retardant. Printed Powerclad FR products, for both flexographic or digital processes, are also certified Flame Retardant.
In accordance with the Fire Protection Association Joint Code of Practice on the protection from fire of construction sites and buildings undergoing renovation, for a product to be certified as Flame Retardant, it must be accredited by either LPCB LPS 1027 and LPS 1215 or Exova Warringtonfire Certifire TS62 and TS63 accreditation schemes. Both schemes require subjecting products to rigorous flame retardant tests performed by an independent and UCAS accredited test laboratory and on-going monitoring and inspection of the company’s manufacturing and Quality Assurance processes.
Each batch of Powerclad FR is inspected and tested before being placed on the market in order to verify compliance with the product specification. The Flame Retardant third-party approval logo is printed at regular intervals on the product, in compliance with the Standard’s requirements.

Construction materials differ as does their performance. The SafeOne breather membrane provides superior water tightness achieving Class W1 resistance to water penetration as clearly demonstrated in the video.
The Safe One non-combustible breather membrane is evaluated for its waterproof performance alongside two competitor products, whereby the use of controlled water flow is applied to simulate severe weather conditions i.e. driving rain. The results clearly demonstrate the integrity of Safe One membrane vs Product X and product Y during this independent spray test.
