ITP supplies debris netting for major conversion project
ITP’s high-performance debris netting has been chosen for a major conversion project delivering 154 contemporary apartments at Silbury Court in Milton Keynes.
Shaviram Group, renowned for transforming commercial properties into high-quality homes, redeveloped an 80,000 sq. ft office block in the heart of Milton Keynes including a two-storey roof extension on top of the existing three storeys. DRG Solutions was commissioned as the main contractor overseeing strip-out works, the roof extension, façade cladding replacement and installation of new glazing. Partition walls and new doors were installed internally to create the individual apartments completed to turnkey standard, with high-specification kitchens and bathrooms and performance flooring throughout.
Leading specialist contractors, Merlin Scaffolding and Talk Event Netting Ltd, oversaw the scaffolding solution which included the installation of ITP’s Powerclad Debris Netting. Its advanced polyethylene knitted netting provides an air permeable solution for temporary containment, improving site safety by reducing the risk of debris and small tools from falling outside of the scaffold.
ITP Account Manager, David Gilmore, said:
“Merlin Scaffolding and Talk Event Netting Ltd have done an outstanding job in delivering the scaffold solution for this project. We’re delighted to support them with the supply of one of our most popular products. We manufacture debris netting in standard grades in seven different colours and flame-retardant grades which are TS 62 certified for external use in any colour.”
Powerclad Debris Netting is one of an extensive range of weather protection and containment solutions manufactured by ITP. The company also supplies scaffold sheeting, vented scaffold sheeting, acoustic barriers, temporary roofing and keder sheeting, filter sheeting and insulated sheeting. With expertise in flame-retardant technology, ITP has developed a range of products with flame retardancy standards which are TS 62 certified for external use and TS 63 certified for internal use.
