Safe One nominated for three industry awards

ITP are delighted to share the news that the Stamisol Safe One breather membrane has been shortlisted  for three industry awards,

The product has  been nominated in the Product of the Year category in CIBSE’s Façade 2022 Design and Engineering Awards as well as being shortlisted in the H&V News Awards, making a select list of finalists in two categories: Safety, Health or Wellbeing Initiative of the Year and Commercial HVAC Product of the Year – Components and Peripherals.

ITP are the exclusive UK suppliers of Stamisol Safe One, an innovative membrane system which offers a unique combination of performance qualities. Safe One has been specified on a wide range of projects across the UK, including The Gantry (pictured) in London, a new 285-room luxury hotel.

The Façade 2022 Design and Engineering Awards recognise and reward excellence and achievements in façade engineering, raising the profile of, and drawing attention to, the importance of this discipline in modern architecture. The Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) have expanded the awards this year with new categories celebrating the key discipline of facade design, engineering and application. The SFE, a division of CIBSE, brings together those involved in the façade industry, to advance knowledge and practice in façade engineering, promoting good practice and ensuring that today’s increasingly complex building façades meet the many and varying performance criteria. The final will take place on 3 November 2022 at Hilton Park Lane, London.

Every year the H&V News Awards celebrate achievements of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning industry, highlighting the sector’s most forward-thinking, innovative and customer-focused businesses and products. This year’s event is taking place on 24 November at the Hilton London Metropole.

Safe One’s three nominations are well deserved. Its unique range of qualities is setting standards in our industry:

Euroclass A2 fire safety rating – above and beyond regulatory requirements
W1 water repellence with waterproofing of 7000mm
Outstanding UV resistance of 5000 hours

These attributes are especially valuable for high-rise buildings which require an enhanced fire safety concept and W1 protection to counter their greater exposure to driving rain. UV resistance prevents solar degradation of Safe One’s membrane material, ensuring that its fire safety and water resistance remain at optimum levels.

ITP are delighted to see Safe One gain industry recognition. Further information about the product is available here: https://itpltd.com/safe-one-class-a-breather-membrane/
