Industrial Textiles and Plastics (ITP) Ltd have significantly increased our capacity with an investment in a new large-format digital printer to enhance the quality, efficiency and capacity of our output for printed scaffold sheeting and temporary containment products.

Providing industry-leading resolution and faster lead times, the purchase of a state-of-the-art printer forms part of a wider investment plan in new infrastructure, a new capex, additional resources and training. Further improvements include factory refurbishments and an upgrading of the company’s flexographic printer.

ITP Managing Director, Carl Morse, said:

“We have experienced growing demand for the extra-large logos, high-impact visuals and intricate detail of our digital solutions, which include full-scale façade reproductions used on the refurbishment of historic buildings. The addition of another digital printer at our factory will enable us to further develop our business supplying wide-format printing on a wide range of applications including scaffold sheeting, vented sheeting, PVC banners, air mesh banners and keder sheeting.”

ITP Sales Director, Matt Thompson, said:

“Reliable fire protection is critical in the construction industry. Scaffold and temporary site protection solutions  require certified flame retardancy standards for use on contracts valued over £2.5m or part of a large contract valued over £20m. This requirement has driven demand for our printed sheeting which is third-party certified to meet flame retardancy standards for both external and internal use, enabling full compliance with relevant construction site regulations. The new digital printer will help ITP to accelerate our growth in this market.”

Based in Easingwold, North Yorkshire, ITP’s wide range of temporary site protection products also includes debris netting, filter sheeting, insulated sheeting and acoustic sheeting.  We  also manufacture a range of products engineered to provide high-performance protection for the building envelope, including breather membranes, vapour control layers, house wraps, roofing underlays, UV-resistant façade membranes, and ground gas barrier membranes for developments on contaminated land. ITP supplies products worldwide via a dedicated exports division which has expanded our presence across multiple regions.
