Banners, covers and sheeting for temporary fencing
- Banners for scaffolding and temporary/ perimeter fencing
- Air mesh sheeting for temporary/perimeter fencing
- Vented covers for temporary/perimeter fencing
Banners, covers and sheeting for temporary and perimeter fencing provide numerous benefits for construction sites and events. They enhance privacy and security, preventing unauthorised access and shielding restricted areas from public view. Custom colour printing offers branding opportunities, allowing companies to display logos, safety messages, or event information, improving visibility and professionalism.
ITP manufactures a range of banners, covers and sheeting for temporary fencing and scaffolding. We use high-quality durable materials to ensure longevity, with weather resistance and air-permeable options helping to reduce wind resistance, preventing structural instability and minimising the risk of fencing collapse in adverse weather.
We also supply flame-retardant grades to improve safety, particularly in high-risk environments where fire hazards are a concern. This feature is essential for compliance with safety regulations at construction sites and large-scale public events.
Our banners, covers and sheeting enhance safety, security, branding, and structural stability, making them a valuable addition to temporary fencing solutions.

Regulations and guidance for covers and sheeting on temporary/perimeter fencing
British Standard 1722-18:2011 provides specifications for free-standing temporary steel mesh perimeter fencing panels, commonly used on construction sites and at events. The standard primarily addresses the structural aspects of these fencing systems, and does not explicitly detail requirements concerning the application of covers or sheeting to the fences.
However, when considering the addition of covers or sheeting to temporary fencing, it's essential to account for factors such as wind loading, stability, and overall safety. The introduction of solid materials can significantly increase wind resistance, potentially compromising the fence's structural integrity if not properly addressed. Therefore, any modifications should be carefully evaluated to ensure they do not adversely affect the fence's performance or safety.
Key Considerations for Temporary Fencing:
- Site Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive assessment to determine the appropriate type and height of fencing required, considering factors such as the nature of the construction work, population density of the area, and potential attraction to children.
- Material Selection: Choose high-quality materials that comply with British Standards to ensure durability and effectiveness in restricting unauthorised access.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain fencing to ensure it remains in a safe condition, addressing any wear or damage promptly to uphold safety standards.
