Reliable protection from the elements

Powerclad® FR Tite creates a watertight barrier against rain and provides protection from wind. This can be particularly beneficial during weather-sensitive activities such as refurbishment, re-roofing, masonry and envelope works, where exposure to the elements can cause delays, water ingress or damage to partially completed areas.

Enhanced wind resistance

Unlike conventional sheeting, which is installed in separate sections and can contain loose edges or areas of slack, shrink wrap is heat-welded and tensioned across the supporting framework. Once shrunk, the material forms a tight finish that reduces flapping and movement. This can provide a more stable enclosure in exposed and windy conditions. As with any temporary protection system, the supporting scaffold or framework must be appropriately designed and prepared for the loads associated with the installation.

Dust and debris containment

The continuous nature of shrink wrap helps to contain dust and debris within the working area, supporting site cleanliness and helping to reduce the potential impact on surrounding areas.
