Wear It Green Day: Supporting Mental Health Awareness Week

It was a sea of green across ITP’s head office and factory on the 14th May as our team came together for a day of fundraising as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

The week-long focus on mental health includes Wear It Green Day, a nationwide initiative organised across schools, communities, and businesses in support of the Mental Health Foundation. The ITP team fully embraced the spirit of the day, as the office was transformed into a vibrant celebration of solidarity and support, featuring every shade from mint and lime to olive and khaki. Bright outfits and bold accessories were on full display, including some impressively garish hair!

Everyone gathered to compare fashion notes and enjoy a delicious spread of homemade cakes. One of the highlights of the day was our “Best Dressed” competition, which sparked plenty of debate over the winner. A huge congratulations goes to Rich Leggott, who set the bar high and deservedly scooped the Best Dressed title!

As part of the event, the team raised just over £130 for the Mental Health Foundation, a charity that provides vital support, research, and advocacy for those affected by mental health difficulties. To further support the cause, ITP pledged to match the total amount raised, doubling the impact of every contribution made by staff and supporters, totalling the charity event at £262.

At ITP, we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical health. Occasions like ‘Wear It Green’ Day are a valuable reminder that supporting one another, checking in, and encouraging open conversations all contribute to a healthier workplace culture. We’re proud of our team for getting involved, raising awareness, and showing their support. Most importantly, we’re grateful to everyone who donated and supported the cause.
