Pavilion Gardens: £50 million housing development on former landfill site
PRODUCT
Powerbase© VOC Gas Barrier Membrane
Flagship housing project transformation
Powerbase VOC was used on a flagship development in Kew from a national housebuilder. The company built a range of homes, apartments and a business park on derelict land as part of a 10-year development programme.
This technically challenging site required remediating and decontaminating the land in advance of construction. ITP’s innovative engineered barrier membrane was installed to prevent the ingress of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and harmful gases into the new constructions. A total of 45,000 square metres have been supplied to the project.
Powerbase VOC is a composite membrane that complies with Ciria C748, BS8485, NHBC Chapter 4.1 and NHBC Red Gas Protection Measures.
