FlameOut Breathe chosen for façade upgrade on Brighton apartments
ITP’s FlameOut Breathe flame-retardant breather membrane has been specified for a major remediation project upgrading the façade of an apartment complex in Brighton.
The scheme required a comprehensive refurbishment to address safety issues at the Grand Parade apartments, which were built before stricter safety regulations came into effect in the wake of the Grenfell disaster. A leading specialist façade contractor carried out the full stripping works and supply and fit new steel frame systems, cladding and external wall insulation along with FlameOut Breathe to prevent the build-up of moisture within the internal insulation layer.
Paul Harrison, Account Manager at ITP, said:
“FlameOut Breathe has become a go-to specification for façade upgrades like Grand Parade. We have supplied our breather membranes for a wide range of major external wall renovations.”
