ITP supplies two flame-retardant scaffold solutions for high-rise refurbishment

ITP supplied two flame retardant scaffold solutions for different stages of a high-rise residential refurbishment in Huddersfield.

Working on behalf of Kirklees Council, the contractor carried out fire safety upgrades on Harold Wilson Court, an apartment block near the town centre, implementing recommendations outlined in a survey by the architectural and building consultancy.

During the early stages of the project, the scaffold contractor installed ITP’s Powerclad scaffold sheeting printed with a range of branding. The printed sheeting has flame retardancy standards which have T62 certified compliance for external use and T63 certified compliance for internal use.

Later in the project, the contractor fitted ITP’s Powerclad Flame Retardant Debris Netting, the only netting on the market which is independently certified to meet T62 standards in any colour.
